On June 4th, 2020, a horrific series of events led to the passing of Fitz Alexander Campbell-Thomas. Fitz had just finished his junior year at Riverside High School and was looking forward to involving himself in the community and entering his senior year. Fitz was widely known for his contagious smile and unwavering positive outlook.
Fitz was also a promising athlete at Riverside, preparing to play his senior season as a running back at the Varsity level. Fitz’s work ethic and constant joy has been noted by teammates and coaches to be a highlight and everlasting mark on Riverside Football.
By the age of 16, Fitz’s legacy of positivity, advocacy, and inclusiveness became widespread across the community. In order to carry on this legacy, the idea to create the Fitz-It list emerged. With this list, we hope to inspire a community wide effort to continue spreading Fitz's message of love and positivity as well as advocating for changes in policies that will benefit us all. Together, we can #FitzIt.
